It's true. I do want to give the world softer lips. But I've always had this fascination with infinitely variable blank slates based on formulas. Huh? Ice cream, for instance. Blend some dairy with some sugar and an amazing amount of creativity and you get flavors like those from the stupendous Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream. (Bangkok Peanut or Honey Butter Cake, anyone?)
Lip balm is similar: I can blend plant oils, butters and waxes with naturally distilled essential oils. My only limitation: What scents do people actually want slicked across their lips? I'm excited to find out. -Claire
